| Hi. I'm Martha Acevedo. I was born in Cali, Colombia. My city is a mix between light and dark. On one side, there are ladies with bodies like palms, salsa dancers in every block, friendly people on the streets and a unique wind that after 4:00pm remains me that I'm part of the Pacific coast. On the other side there, is a lot of blood running on the streets, displaced families trying to survive, dealers on some corners waiting for their next victim. Cali, Paris, Los Angeles... cities are all the same. Now I'm here in Los Angeles my new hectic city. I'm living it's shiny darkness. |
